Our Story

Why we connect artists to the world

We met Ezekiel while working in Tanzania through our youth ICT education initiative. He was drawing wildlife with a pen — not because he preferred it, but because paint was something he couldn't afford.

We met Mitole not long after. He was painting busy street scenes full of life and detail. Almost no one outside his city had ever seen his work.

Both were talented. Neither had a way to reach people beyond where they lived.

That was the problem we wanted to solve.

Voice of Piece didn't start as a website.

It was built through real work on the ground in Tanzania — meeting artists, listening to their challenges, and testing what could actually help.

In 2024, the project was selected as a finalist in an international development startup program and moved into field testing.

We worked with artists across different environments — from small studios to street corners — and built the platform around what they told us.

We turn original artwork into everyday products — bags, prints, and more — so the work can travel beyond borders and reach people who would never otherwise encounter it.

Every item on this site is made from real artwork, by a real person.

Every purchase directly supports the artist behind the work.

What Your Purchase Makes Possible

  • Artists earn directly from their work
  • • Access to better materials and tools
  • • Opportunity to share their work globally
  • • A path toward sustainable creative work

Each purchase is a small step — but together, it creates real change.
